‘Commercial Break’ is the fourteenth studio album from revived synth-pop outfit Blancmange, and their seventh in consecutive years. Co-produced by Benge alongside the band’s Neil Arthur, this album boldly explores Arthur’s love of field recordings and incorporates sounds of rusty gates, overheard conversations and household appliances into the band’s synthesizer-based aesthetic.
